American Farmland Trust is a national nonprofit organization that works
with communities and individuals to protect the best land, plan for
agriculture and keep the land healthy. As the leading advocate for farm
and ranch land conservation, AFT has ensured that more than a million
acres stays bountiful and productive. AFT believes that farmers and ranchers
can strengthen agriculture. AFT encourages farmer innovation and helps
farmers manage the risks of agriculture.

Session 1 (6:00 to 7:00 p.m)
Overview: tools and techniques available to protect agricultural land, including case studies showing how these tools have been used to protect farms across the country.

Session 2 (7:30 to 9:00)
Boone County focus: ways to protect local farmland, practical hands-on advice, questions and discussion.
